After almost 1200 pages I am enthralled by what I have read (and also glad it is over as I should be out a reading slump that it put me in). Quite possibly the most detail rich book I have read in my life, it puts you in the mind of 6 or 7 characters and shows you exactly what they are thinking. The characters exprience the story of a criminal group and it's actions, talking about what shaded corners of the population, the deep-rooted, long-term affects of corporate greed and the things we do for what we desire. I thoroughly enjoyed this despite it's speed and would love a reread in the future <3
Graphic: Kidnapping
Moderate: Schizophrenia/Psychosis , Suicidal thoughts, and Suicide

Finally. I finally finished it. With both volumes, this story totals approximately 1200 pages. It's extremely detailed but somehow still very gripping. Volume 1 walked so that Volume 2 could run.
There is one chapter where a character spends about 14 pages trying to work out what was minute detail was different about a bus stop from when he saw it the previous day. It was absolutely compelling.
