Wow, this volume was a rollercoaster of emotions! From the fun, goofy race Kageyama had with Hinata ending in them both practicing (they're BFF's, you can't tell me otherwise), to Kageyama snapping at his team and actually feeling devastated by it, to his team (but mostly Hinata) still choosing to support him and letting his rudeness go knowing he's not doing it out of spite. I swear, this volume had more ups and downs then the last few and I was not prepared for it!

Going more in depth over Kageyama's short relapse into his old self, what I really appreciate about this moment is how Kageyama IMMEDIATELY recognizes that what he did was wrong and looks terrified of the consequences. This scene truly shows how much development he's gotten throughout the series that when he snaps at his team, he's both upset AND scared of the consequences, mainly that they'll leave him like his old team did. But what I also appreciate is that Hinata's and everyone's solution? Fuck, we just won't listen to you. It may seem minor, but it speaks volumes to how committed the team is to volleyball and to doing there best that rather than make a grand, dramatic exit, they just take the easy option but still play. Kageyama's short relapse was difficult to watch because he has grown so much, but it was necessary to show in order for him to grow more.

Rant over. This was an awesome volume, please excuse me I have to find out how the match ends, bye!

I’m rewatching the anime and trying to finish the manga, but why did I look up the timeline? I just spoiled myself xD
I kind of already knew what was going to happen cuz I’ve seen some things online as It was being released, but either way it’s never fun to spoil yourself.

As for this volume it’s been a few years so I don’t remember everything, but I missed the characters, it’s what I love the most about Haikyuu, I’m so excited for what’s to come.
