As usual the narnia books just have a magic about them that brings back the joys of childhood. This one had not only magic, but adventure!! The narrative and descriptions can't be faulted, I pictured everything easily and it brought me to places such as Turkey and Egypt. Places I have never been before but which were obviously used as the base for Tarkaan and the desert.

As usual the characters are endearing and well developed. I loved coming across previous characters, Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy and learning more about their time in Narnia.

Quite an adventure. Would recommend.

This was one of my favorites with Shasta and Aravis bantering at each other, already obvious that they'll grow an attraction toward each other. Loved the ending of how Shasta/Cor and Corin didn't fight over the crown like how some royal siblings have done. Bree was definitely my favorite character with his self-consciousness, of what the other Narnian horses will think of him since he's been living as a Calormene horse. lol.
