There were several moments while reading this book when I paused and thought— yeah, that really is what it feels like to be a teenager.

This book was so sad but hopeful. And very realistic and relatable. I think everyone has gone thru a friend breakup or grown apart from a friend before.
I liked that the author doesn’t just blame one character for it and shows that both messed up. It makes it more true to real life.

This book surprised me. I was skeptical it would be a bit “teen drama-y,” but there were deep truths sprinkled throughout and it was extremely well written. I’ll definitely be looking for more from Ashley Woodfolk!

i loved this book so much, i have so many quotes that i still remember by heart to this day
Oh man, I can’t even begin to explain how this book made me feel. That ending, the song, I don’t remember the last time I cried that much during a read. There’s so many books, songs, movies, written about romantic relationships and the unfortunate breakups that sometimes follow, but nothing about friendships. Specifically women friendships. As someone who went through a “breakup” with my former best friend last year, this was exactly what I needed to move forward. I will never stop raving about this book!
