It was definitely a slow burn in my opinion but I absolutely loved all the drama that occurred. I loved the then and now POV overall I really loved Cleo character and I loved the way friendship was shown the good the bad and ugly side.

A book I didn’t know I needed, and so beautifully and honestly written. It really does justice to a type of loss not reflected on in most books.

I really adore the ways YA makes seemingly devastating moments, less so. I loved the exploration of loss (in its many iterations) but the way life still blossoms in beautiful ways. It did a really good job of showing the complexities of human behaviour and friendships at an intimately young and formative age. 
I really enjoyed this. 
Tempted to shift between 3 and 4 based on content but I mean you know, it’s YA so the writing was a little young to me sometimes.

I totally related to this book.

Losing a friend (my only friend) and watching how it spiraled out of control.

She had her group that hated me and I had my group that hated her. Let all the backstabbing talk begin.

Like the main character in the story I am glad she realized her part in the break down and started to work on herself and let her Ex friend work on her.

Again this is another book I read this month that basically tells a story of people having a lack of communication skills and the problems that it can cause.

Makes me really evaluate how I look at the problems that happen in my life and make sure I take responsibility for my part in the break down.

Oh, this hurt. Like, got me right in the heart-kind of hurt. I think it took a minute for me to get into the story, but with the promise of high ratings and knowing the story could resonate with me a lot, I kept going. And I’m glad I did. Would recommend!!
