Read this in preparation of season 3 of bridgerton and it was just as mindless and corny as I expected.

I greatly enjoyed the book. The show wasn’t too far off from the book. There’s a few details that were different. I do like that the Audible included two epilogues so we were able to fast forward into their lives.

I never thought in my time on this earth as a reader I would ever utter these words but,
the tv series was leagues better.

now given the material I think how they managed the very unseemly behavior of our heroine was handled better in the show but I cannot excuse that sort of act. deplorable. I also feel like the pacing was quite weird and I am not sure how to explain it.

alas I have promised myself I will read at least the first 4 of this series and my mother didn’t raise a quitter.
