Just as promised by the author, much lighter and relaxed than the first book. It does have a couple of ptsd moments that throwback to the drama lived in the first book, but it never gets as grafic and painful as in the first one. Lots of pretty and heartmelting moments between Atlas and Lily, that was my favorite. Nice romantic content

Thank you COHO for writing another good book about the difficulty of moving on from a toxic relationship. The world isn’t black and white. Once we break up with people, it’d be great if we could stop thinking about them but our thoughts often turn to the what-ifs and the good times. But I love how Lily recognizes it and realizes she and her daughter deserve better.

It Starts With Us was a good book, and I enjoyed getting Atlas’ perspective, but I liked the first one better.

i don’t even know what to say other than how happy i am, i want to cry because i miss them both so much already.

it ends with us was one of the books that brought back my love for reading, i knew that it starts with us was only going to remind me of that before i had even started it.

i’ve said it before and i will say it again and again colleen does it every single time & i will always recommend her books to everyone.

atlas is heaven sent, he was in the first book and still is.
i think everyone was a bit worried that there would be a plot twist that would change everyone’s opinion on him but if anything this book has made me love him even more.

to see lily’s character develop and become the woman she is, to become more confident in herself and stand her ground was so reliving and nice to see.

i will never stop thinking about this book <3
atlas & lily forever x

I Absolutely adored the story of Atlas and Lily. For me this book was a closure read, rather than an intense read. Which is what Colleen Hoover wanted. I loved the growth, understanding, support, and the endless loved portrayed in the book by both Atlas and Lily. Were there moments I wanted more, yes! Did I feel like they deserved more time exploring each other (aka spice) yes! AND in-spite of that, it was still a fun read. Lily deserved stability and a peace that Atlas could only provide and I think she got that at the end of “it starts with us”.

Over all it was a fun and lighter read. I thoroughly enjoyed it ❤️

I love this book. It is the perfect sequel to it ends with us. Colleen Hoover gave us what we were all wanting out of this book.
