Age gap / NFL / college student / fake dating
2.5/5🌶️
I loved this book in many parts, Ollie is hilarious and Silas is a grumpy man that just wants to be loved but it's scared of it.
The third act breakup was predictable, but whatever.
Spoiler ahead.

Something that I always hate is when one of the characters has to give up something they love for their loved one and even though she didn't willingly do it, she still lost her college career and no fucking mention of her being able to finish her schooling infuriates me beyond belief.

This book made me tear up towards the end. I hated how everything was handled though. This book could have been so good without the third act breakup. I just felt like it was so unnecessary. Silas and Ollie were very cute, but their relationship didn’t give me much until maybe more than halfway through the book. I’m not the hugest fan of slow burns and this was borderline slow burn. Still deserves 4 stars though.

I’ve read the book and listened to the audio. IMO the audio flowed better than the book. I would like to point out that I accidentally started with Silas’s book before I discovered it was a series so that might have messed up my review when I read the book. 🙊

I loved Silas and Ollie. There is an Age Gap, 10 yrs. College student and NHL player. Trust issues. The guy friends their banter was my favorite, bromance is funny.

what a great book

I loved how smooth this book was written. The story made me laugh out laugh, blush, get hot and made me cry. What a hot couple Silas and Ollie are. This book is now one of my favourite Romance books and I couldn’t put it down!! Thank you Meghan Quinn for writing this brilliant love story.

This book was a wild ride. An age-gap sports romance, It was hilarious and the main characters are made for each other. They have amazing banter and counter balance perfectly. If you are looking for a book to break your heart and lift your spirits, this is it!

“I know you wouldn’t intentionally try to make me look like a donkey-loving pervert.”

“I welcome it. Nibble away.”

THIS WAS SO FUCKING GOOD. Literally no fucking notes.

Idk what drugs Meghan Quinn put in this book but I will need it for the rest of my life. That was not only one of the most funny but one of the hottest books I have read in a minute — trust me the audio book had me weak in the knees 🧎🏻‍♀️🫠

Silas and Ollie are so hot hot hot together and their chemistry was off the charts 🔥 BUT THAT MAN and HIS JACOBS LADDER 👀😮‍💨😛

Who knew sports romances could be so fun LMAO

read this series on audio like yesterday !
