Same as the last book, I didn't feel like the couple would last, but the plot was good

Candace deserved worse than she got. It feels slighted at the end. I also think Silas needed a bit more groveling. With about 5-10 more pages this could’ve been a perfect 5 for me personally. I did really like the characters and the story. It’s a good read for anyone on the fence. I chose this without the influence of booktok and am happy I did. If I could give a half star extra to make it 4.5/5 I would. Definitely recommend

Ollie and Silas. Love all the tropes in this one - fake dating, age gap, famous/commoner, etc. I read the first book months ago so it took me a minute to remember what a grump Silas was but I loved to see him get his love story!
Open door. Fake dating. Age gap. Famous/commoner.

man aint shit tbh, i mean bro said he was gon try to trust her and just completely ignores her when she wanted to explain and wouldnt allow her. its like he did a complete personality change.
couldve at least made him grovel....
banter was great, actually laugh out loud.
wish we couldve saw the consequences...

Meghan Quinn always find a way to make me laugh out loud at least once in her books. Her books are always dirty and spicy but I always end up loving the story. Reading her is a guilty pleasure of mine. This book is a little bit cliche but that is Meghan's style. If you're looking for a lighthearted read that makes you feel good after you're done, then you should read this book.
I love that she has created a world were past characters and towns pop back up. Its fun to have read so many of her books and re-meet characters through different eyes. This book particular was different from her others in ways. I am usually not a huge fan of big age difference in the love interests because honestly I find it creepy that a 31 year old male would be interested in a 21 year old. With that said I didn't mind it in this book. I actually felt like at times it made sense for the characters and I think it was done in a healthy way that I can get behind.
There's nothing overly crazy about her books. They are what they are. They are dirty romance books. So as long as you don't expect them to be anything else then you will love her books. She does what she does well. I will continue to be a supporter and reading all her books.

Thank you @meghanquinnbooks for the advanced review copy of Right Man, Right Time, receipt of which did not impact my review. Pub date: 3/7/23.
Meghan Quinn does it again! Whenever I pick up one of her books, I know I’m going to have a hard time keeping a straight face while reading. And Right Man, Right Time is another great rom-com with depth and heart (and I think it’s one of her spiciest yet!) Silas and Ollie had SUCH great banter and chemistry. There’s a real slow burn here, folks, but it’s worth the wait!

Ollie is the perfect match for Silas. Complete opposites, she's quick witted and snarky, he's grumpy and recovering from heartbreak. The two meet when she boldly kisses him at a bar to get back at her nemesis, and it's that same evildoer that nearly breaks them apart. Steamy, funny, and hard to put down - just what you expect from Meghan Quinn and her sports romcoms. It had the added bonus of cheesy movie lines and missing this one is a big mistake. Huge.
