This book is brilliant! I love enemies to lovers and this book was perfect. Hamilton and Gwen's story is absolutely beautiful within this trope, they where friends, but then he dumped her and after a while, they find themselves again. This story got me from the start, I love it, every chapter of it, Angel Lawson and Samantha Rue did a magnificent job writing this book and I absolutely need to get their next one. More than 5 stars if I could!

Enemies to lovers is not a particularly favourite trope of mine, but I do read it every now and then. The enemies part here was definitely fleshed out, there was banter and steam but I thought it lacked any form of common ground between the main characters especially in the first 70% of the book.
What I found the most lacking though was the ending - particularly for the male protagonist. The entirety of his conflict, the main thing he was struggling with the entire book and the sole reason for his problems/trauma/antagonistic behaviour was solved in 2 sentences in the epilogue. It felt lackluster and like the author wanted 100% happy ending and could not find another way to achieve that.
This is the main reason I probably won't read the rest of the series, because I liked the setting and the way the characters (even side characters) felt well rounded.

So good!
I absolutely LOVED this book! I couldn’t put it down. The only thing I didn’t really like (which isn’t a big deal whatsoever) is that I wish we got more details about the other devils.
