It was so boring. Literally nothing happens.

I really enjoyed this book, the premise is a bit silly but it worked. A great debut novel. I do wish it was written with a dual POV. A great summer, Sunday night blues, post vacation… I don’t want to go back to work read.

Story: 10/10
Spice: 10/10

The magnitude of how much I loved this book is hard to put into words. I simply fell in love with it, the characters, the story, everything. It was an emotional journey that I was not expecting but that completely captivated me from start to finish. I’m looking forward to reading more of Jessica Joyce’s books.

I actually didn't mind the Author's writing style, I might even give her next book another go. However, I didn't jive with this too much. I thought the characters weren't well-explored, the high school  rivalry was relied on too much. It felt weird that they were still fighting, as 28 year olds. I thought the romance development was a bit too sudden, but I enjoyed Noelle and Theo's dynamics once they got together. I thought following the road trip and Paul and Kat's story was sweet. Although I liked the angst of the third act with Theo's job - I didn't enjoy that Noelle felt like she did wrong as well, when in reality it was all Theo.

LOVED IT!!

What a sweet romance that really makes you believe in the universe. Beyond that though, the grief it goes through is so real and tangible, it's amazing to feel this close to characters that don't exist.
