This was good. I don’t have any particularly strong feelings about it really. Characters are good. I think my favorite is becoming Beatrice. She’s really becoming likeable, while in the first book she really wasn’t. Daphne is always interesting to read about too. Even though she’s, like, a terrible person almost.

Except I think this could be a bit shorter than it is. Drags on like the first one did, just not as much, I don’t think. Still good though. And I will be reading the third book and the fourth one when it comes out. 4 stars

I'm... well I don't know what to think. Majesty was still, just like its predecessor, very entertaining, it's the kind of book you'd binge read easily and I had fun reading it, too. That being said... as a sequel, it felt a little disappointing. I expected more growth in the relationships the author spent time building up in the first book and... well I was really let down by that.
Still, I liked the book overall and the characters were fun, so... I'm conflicted?? So 3, for now?

Thank you to the Penguin Random House International for sending me an e-ARC of this book. This did not, in any way, influence my thoughts and rating.

This was a good book. It took some time to get back into…unfortunately, I felt like a lot of it was very predictable romantic tropes that didn’t leave me feeling engaged in the story. But eventually it got there and worked itself out.

Spoilers————————————————————-

I really like how the main theme is being yourself, even when its hard or people don’t want you to. Seeing these characters gain strength they didn’t have in the first book felt good. I really didn’t like reading Daphnes parts, but I hope she gets whats coming to her in the next one...if there will be one?
I hope so because I’m dying to hear about Sam and Ninas trip and Beatrice leading like a badass. And hopefully Jefferson pulls his head out of his ass and figures out his own problems. Lol

I loved the first book in the series and was eager to listen to the second. I found it a bit chaotic and not a whole lot of character development.
