I LOVED this book. I hate that I waited so long to read it, but it was the perfect combination of pop culture, history, and drama. I would love if this was adapted for screen.
I really didn’t know too much about JFK Jr and Carolyn so it was fun reading chapters then googling the real-life situations to compare.

Would have like it better with a different epilogue. It was too far in advance and wrapped everything thing up to nicely.
I liked Berry in the first half of the book but not in the second.

This was a very poorly written book. You could replace any given character with spoons, and they would still have as much personality and depth. The prose is childish, and there's no real conflict happening within or among characters.

I was absolutely sucked in from the first chapter. Part of that could be that I have always been intrigued by the Kennedy family, but i also have always enjoyed Emily’s writing style. I loved the romance side of the story but also the overcoming adversity, moving away from the way you’re raised, doing better than your parents elements in Cate’s story.

I didn't love this one. The pacing for the first half felt off--it felt like the back story was rushed, and I wished that there was either more time spent on their pasts or that it was just woven into the present day storyline. I also felt like all the conflict could've been easily avoided if Cate had just been more open with Joe. I also felt like the plane crash was rushed at the ending; there really could've been much more after that, and it felt rushed that it happened and then the story just ended? I guess overall it was a fun story but the whole time I just felt like "what is the point of this story? Where is it going?"
