good stuff

This was a well written mental health book. She captured the brokenness amazingly and she wrote a loveable character doing so.

Definitely should have read this one first. Haunting and Hunting kind of ruined it for me TBH because I already knew the plot twist (Spoiler, I guess. There’s a plot twist at the end).

I couldn’t really get into this story because I kept wondering how everything was possible (iykyk). Although, it was kind of helpful to understand Sibby’s background and why she is the way that she is.

This book is also brutal, like very graphic. Not a fan of the violent portrayal of mental illness though.

I recommend reading in tandem with HA when this particular character comes into play. I read this before HA and regretted it because it completely skewed what I thought HA would be like. Honestly not rating it cause it’s fucked lol but it ends up making sense…

I loved being able to read Sibby's thoughts and learn more about her after I read the duet. I have a deeper understanding of her and love her now!

I'd rate it a 3.5 stars. It read like a criminal minds episode from the unsub's point of view so if that's your thing- I'd highly recommend.
