A short and sweet little story about how Eli copes with the trauma he picked up in The Caledonian Gambit. Could have been a bit longer, but since it's a cut chapter from The Bayern Agenda, I can't really complain. Just glad I got to read it.

4.5 stars. I got a kick out of this short adventure for the stars of the Caledonian Gambit (The Galactic Cold War series). I enjoyed the author's note of where the story came from, too. I'm thoroughly enjoying this series.
