Eva has had a lot of changes recently most aren't good but now she is surrounded by those that care about her (even when they meddle!) and is running her late grandmother Lilith's Brewed with a View coffee shop. Mac is in town to face his past and learn more about where he is from and after visiting Eva's shop he has more to keep him intrigued about Cinnamon Bay. Both Eva and Mac are a bit lost in life so it was was seeing them learn more about who they are and seeing their attraction to each other grow. Be ready for a great sweet read and was it the Cafe Amour that brought them together?! 😉

This book was okay along with the characters. But it wasn't anything amazing there was a plot but not what I would call meaty. If you want a book to pass time it's great.

Such a cute love story. I liked this book even if it was cheesy at parts. Mack is trying to find his history and himself and Eva is bound and determined not to fall in love again. She has meddling people in her life and the wonderful ladies try so hard to have them both open their eyes to what is in front of them.

Writing style was a bit boring. It just didn't really get to me on a personal level so I had a hard time connecting to the MCs.
Plus, it was quite cheesy, esp. The ending. There was just too much of everything...
The premise itself was interesting. A love potion, a small town with a lot of gossipy women.
A man who wants to find out more about the family who gave him up for adoption and feels guilty for wanting to find out more.
A woman who helps him and finds herself attracted to him but who can't act on those feelings cause she doesn't want to commit to a guy who will leave her anyways. So, they start something like a friends with benefits arrangement.
Don't know... Wasn't really hooked. There wasn't really anything mysterious or anything the MC had to find out cause he basically knew why he was given up for adoption so it wasn't very intriguing... Ofc, in the end, he did find out what happened exactly but still... I wasn't really invested in his past.
I guess, all in all, it was a decent read.
