3.5 stars. I was heavily influenced by tiktok on this one and what a disappointment. It was just an okay read.

Good book. Not what I was expecting but it was nicely written in a fascinating and mysterious way.

Why you should read Caraval:

The book Caraval written by Stephanie Garber, is a great fictional book, the characters are well written and all have interesting pasts that make the reader thrilled to know, if you're looking for a book with lots of cliffhangers this is the book for you.

The story is written in a beautiful era and presents the theme of fashion, friendship and magic. Most think by saying magic it would be close to a Cinderella story, but it is way more intense, it does not only focus on the main character but also all the side characters also.

This book's concept was so unique that I couldn't help but be enthralled by the myths and legends behind Master Legend.

Also the beautiful descriptions of the characters faces and clothes face their emotions rather than having to say they're sad, the writer describes their facial expressions.

It's more like Alice in Wonderland but dark and thrilling. After you reach the second chapter you will be hooked.
