I’m rounding up my review to a 4 but it was more a 3.5ish. Don’t get me wrong I read it in a day and was pure entertainment but some of the story line was tough LOL I did love the deaf aspect and learning more about the community and Olivia was so cute!! Also, the Whitlocks are a family I want to be a part of! I cannot wait for Grady’s book :)

This was my first Corinne Michaels book and it will not be my last. I already ordered Gradys book! The writing in this book was top tier. There were little details of the story I didnt love but the writing was so good I just ignored it. It was the perfect pace, character dynamic and style for the book tone. I loved every single character in Sugarloaf. Reading this was like getting a hug when you really needed it. I also learned so much about ASL through this book and it was beautifully written. Also the COMMUNICATION
