DID NOT FINISH

I pushed through it because I received it as an ARC and wanted to be as objective as I could.
But I really didn't like the main characters (she particularly annoyed me), didn't really see the chemistry either...

This was not awfully bad but many things didn't do it for me and the (annoying) plot twist was just the cherry on the cake.

4⭐️ This book was so good up until the plot twist. It felt so forced and I hated it. Still going to read the other books when they come out though

i don’t know if it was me or the book, but i just wasn’t feeling in the vibes in this one. i think i’ve read too many small town single dad nanny books now that i’m picky.

i feel like the pacing was off. it started off strong and i like the direction it was going, but i feel like they switched from bickering and being irritated with each other to jumping each other’s bones rather quickly. i also didn’t really care enough about either of the characters to care about their relationship

i also HATE when grown ass women call their father Daddy. this 24 year adult couldn’t stop calling him daddy throughout the whole book and it was just so cringy to me. i also really don’t think the “forbidden” part of this story was all that forbidden. literally no one cared when they got together.

ok end of rant. but i did like olivia and am giving a bonus star for her
