This was my first Corinne Michael’s book and let me tell you, I LOVED IT!! Did I read this in one day? Yes I did ☺️Also, I really recommend the audiobook! Zachary Webber & Desiree Ketchum were amazing!!
Phoebe & Asher are perfect! The chemistry between the two of them is sooo hot! Asher had my mouth on the floor with his dirty mouth 🥵Asher is perfect! He drove 13 hours to punch someone in the face for her and he even flew to a different state because he missed her! He is everything 😩
Phoebe and Olivia relationship was adorable! They melted my heart! Phoebe loved her right from the start and she did everything to protect her little heart!
I can’t wait to drive more into her books!

I really enjoyed this book! It gave everything you want out of a small town single dad/nanny romance. The tension, the pining, the trying to resist the chemistry! I’m such a sucker for a grumpy dad who is a toasted marshmallow for the FMC (and his kiddos) and Asher was just *chef’s kiss* I loved Phoebe and Olivia’s relationship it was so sweet and genuine. I enjoyed the progression of Asher and Phoebe’s relationship I really developed into something deep and meaningful- such tender love and care was clear between the two of them. I was swooning over how kind and supportive Asher was. Honorable mention to Asher’s siblings and the guest appearance of Emmeline from The Cloverleigh Farms series (such a fun surprise!). I definitely would recommend this book to readers looking for a sweet, spicy, and swoony romance!

Zachary Webber (honest unpopular opinion: he wasn't my favorite male narrator at the start 🙈) absolutely KILLED it as Asher. I loved his pacing, his inflection, the tenderness that went into his voice when he was talking/signing with his daughter. WOW!!
Desiree Ketchum was also just amazing! She had the perfect balance of snark, but also was able to sound so vulnerable. I loved that the character of Phoebe didn't have her whole life together. She was trying to figure things out, so she made mistakes.
Honestly, Im not a huge 5🌟 giver. I have to connect with the characters, enjoyed the banter, feel the build up of tension and need. THEN I can get into all my feelings. I loved how much Asher loved his girls and how protective he became.
Plus he SAID all those feelings, in WORDS, he didn't run from or try to push them away. Once he was in, he was in and I LOVED that.
This is the kind of Audiobook that I finished and immediately wanted to start at the beginning at.
I am now dying for the next book in the series!
