I really liked the story idea and the sapphic couple, but overall the book dragged a bit at some points. It was still an enjoyable read and an interesting mystery!
The book did have a lot of heavy topics though, like rape, assault, murder and homophobia.

Amazing! I was very confused, but then the pieces started coming together and it was just so good.

I feel very conflicted about how to rate this. First of all, there were certain things that I found confusing and messy, but I listened to the story on audiobook, so I don't know if that problem had existed if I'd read it physically. And secondly, it was just a very hard book? The topic of the story was a lot darker than I expected and went almost nauseatingly into more detail than I thought it would.

But I did like the story for the most part! I especially adored Claude, she was amazing. And there were some important messages in the book, especially about girls' sexuality and about how victims of sexual assault weren't believed. And two of the main girls were bisexual and lesbian respectively. (The only bad part about that? The bisexual girl played into the trope of bisexuals being cheaters, though the author also criticised many biphobic actions.)
