This was deliciously atmospheric

3.75/5 ⭐️

honestly i just really enjoyed the atmosphere and the vibe. I liked the elements of polite society vs Audrey Rose and how she basically did not give a flying fuck. I enjoyed this thoroughly but it’s definitely not my favorite book ever

I feel like for her debut novel at the time this was really good, i absolutely adore her writing and love the kingdom of the wicked series, but this just wasn’t my favorite! It definitely was worth the read but I just felt very meh or just ok with it :)

I enjoyed this book so much. I felt that the mix of mystery and suspense, tied into a period piece with a slight bit of romance, was well done. The plot and unique characters drew you in, particularly the MC. I can’t wait to read the other books in the series!

Der Titel macht nicht wirklich Sinn in my opinion da sie in erst aktiv stalkt kurz vorm Ende, es is bissl lame aber Thomas rettet alles

Audrey took a second to grow on me, Thomas was an a**hole (but I live) & I do love the entire story related to Jack the Ripper and the 1800s. It could be a little predictable but it’s SO good. Totally recommend the audiobook.

100% empfehlenswert!!
