Wow, could have gone without the fat shaming plot point. So disappointing.

Another excellent entry in this British series for young readers. McTavish is the Peachy's family dog, and takes very good care of them, where he can. The family members have learned about cooking and healthy eating, and take turns in the kitchen creating fine meals for each other. Papa Peachy decides to join in on this and finds he enjoys baking... but is horrible at it. He has a dream, however, to enter a complex baking contest. His efforts and failures are funny, and it's a good lesson in how the family gives him love and support for his dream.

Oh this was my least favorite book in the McTavish serie. Probably because it focused so much on my least favorite character, Pa Peachy.
I did like all the training McTavish and Betty did.

I would still recommend these funny (and healthy) books, for anyone between 6 to 66 years old!
