Some good twists, but I felt like I never really connected with the characters enough to be drawn in.

I've been reading the London biography which has been a bit slow, so I needed something fast and fun. This was perfect, a solid mystery with fair twists, horror themes, but more of an action/thriller+mystery plot.

I was excited for the premise of this book, but unfortunately, it was just meh. There were extremely interesting parts, but they were weighed down by other parts of the book that were so boring I had to make myself keep reading. If the parts that weren't great had just been okay or good, I think I could have raised my review to a 3.5 or a 4 star book. But because there were so many boring parts that just felt like they dragged, the best I can give is a solid 3.

Definitely a good read! Fun and exciting, with tons of tropes. The idea of what happens to the girl at the very end is intriguing I just think it was executed with many references to tropes. Not predictable, but familiar. With a fantastic ending
