I think that the part from the afterward about dystopia being easy and utopia being hard (and the reverse being true for real life) is something I will think about for a long time.
tbh though, I do feel like I get accused of critiquing things without building solutions, so I'm not 100% sure about that. but I am increasingly frustrated by expectations that I should not take offense to other people's "political beliefs" and/or that I should not share my "political beliefs" at "work".

Un pays de fantômes est un roman imparfait et pourtant excellent qui nous laisse le cœur ému et le cerveau en ébullition. C’est presque un manifeste anarchiste par l’utopie, une porte ouverte pour nous autres, humains désillusionnés par notre monde. J’ai trouvé cette lecture passionnante malgré son manichéisme et son histoire sans doute un peu convenue. Parce que l’émotion et le cœur ont pris le pas sur la raison sans doute… Merci Argyll de nous faire découvrir cette voix!

I wish a few scenes were more than a couple of sentences. No spoilies but some wild things happen and they get glossed over so quickly. The discussion surrounding anarchism in these communities and the journey that the main character take are interesting and enjoyable.
