it did what it set out to do in a very simple way about a very complex (maybe not the right word here) moment in history
This book is definitely great if you want to examine identity - no matter how much Marji changes, I still love her naive intention of being a prophet - hopefully to make people around hers life better as opposed to the regime using Islamic religion to manipulate people. I enjoy very much when Marji speaks against the authority, the words just speak of the nonsense of the regime and the absurdity of human nature.

This was the first part of the book. It is another book that is more of the authors life. I really liked the graphic novel aspect of the book. I know that this is a memoir and that makes these events more impactful. We read this in class but it has been a very quick read. I would like to read the other half eventually. Like I said previously it was short and an English class rea but was still good.
