The graphic autobiography of Marjane Satrapi growing up in Iran during the Islamic Revolution. 
I had to keep telling myself that all this happened, and that all this happened to a little girl. 

It was funny, often heartbreaking, but always inspiring.

This book defies any sort of review I could possibly give it. It was amazing, it took me less than 2 hours to read it and appreciate the artwork, and it taught me SO MUCH MORE about the Iraq/Iran war than I think I could have learned from any other source.

Satrapi is an AMAZING female voice, and I can't wait to read the rest of the series and watch the movie!!! I can't BELIEVE this is a MEMOIR!! I WANT MORE MORE MORE!!
