10/10!!! Thick with sex and lust and fun and fire and PRAISE !!!
Maybe it’s because I *just* finished the hot mess that was Den of Vipers, but I really appreciated how—despite the somewhat unrealistic plot—grounded in realism Praise was. Charlie was insanely relatable as a FMC, imo, and this was just a super fun, enjoyable read.
Hot, heartfelt, and impossible to put down. Emerson is the ultimate older MMC with a commanding presence, and Charlotte’s mix of vulnerability and strength makes her unforgettable. This praise kink romance is spicy with just the right amount of emotion. LOVED this book!!

There were parts where it seemed “wordy”, but over all I enjoyed it and the spice.

I wanted a little palette cleaner you know? A break from the fantasy and contemporary romance I’ve been reading. I wanted spice. And you know what? I got it. Along with amazing characters and plot.
Emerson Grant how dare you? How dare you be hot, sweet, romantic, and fiercely protective?! And then Charlie? I loved her! It’s not often I fall for the FMC almost instantly but I did! I loved how she knew Beau wasn’t meant for her and that she deserved someone better, someone who wouldn’t make her feel inferior - as least not outside the bedroom *bites nail *! And then Sophie stole my heart just as quick. I loved her sassiness.
I can’t give this book a full 5 stars but instead 4.5 out of 5 stars because I was getting a little annoyed by the fact that Emerson being Beau’s father was still the focus after he and Charlie were already sexually involved. Like we get it! He’s Beau’s dad! But who cares now when y’all are screwing with no remorse? It just felt kinda irrelevant to even mention that part after a while.
BUT I’m still heavily in love with this book. I devoured it! I truly did not think it would keep me indulged until the very end. I really didn’t. I’m actually floored on how good this book is! I didn’t have any particular expectations but my gosh am I happy that I decided to crack this book open! Will I read the others? You damn right I will! Cara Cate has my attention and I am not complaining!
