The authors writing style was terrible. Pages and pages of repetitive thoughts. The plot could have been good. Pretty early on I started skipping large sections.

I enjoyed this book so much, I loved the instant connection that Eden had with Gage, their interactions were sweet and adorable. I enjoyed this book because it had the right combination of suspense and romance. Eden and Trent’s journey was a joy to read.

DNF @ 22%. My brain couldn’t handle the authors writing style. The plot seemed interesting… and was almost enough to get me to push through… but then I just started skimming a lot.

This was certainly an engaging read (aka full of drama/action), but it also got a little silly at some points - namely the big twist that was revealed late in the story. I actually had wondered about that earlier in the book, just for the most fleeting of moments, but I dismissed it 'cause it seemed a bit too out there. Turns out it wasn't!

Anyway, the romance was engaging but I felt like occasionally I was supposed to feel a certain way about a certain thing, and I just didn't. I still really love that Eden and Trent
Spoilerfound their happiness together - they're definitely meant to be!
I love the friendship between Eden and her bestie, and the bond between the brothers is great too.

While I was reading, I found myself wanting to read the brothers' stories as well, so I'm glad that I will get that opportunity ... someday. That day is not today since those books aren't out yet! For now, I shall move on without this family!

So, I just finished Give Me a Reason, the first book in the Redemption Hills series, and I'm totally hooked! Trent and Eden's chemistry is off the charts. She's a ray of sunshine, and he's got a tough exterior but a heart of gold. The Lawson brothers are a tight-knit bunch, and it's heartwarming to see how much they have each other's backs.

The narrators, Connor Crais and Desiree Ketchum, did an amazing job bringing the characters to life. You can really feel the emotions in their voices. I'm definitely looking forward to more books in this series!

Trent and Eden were sizzling from the beginning and slowly simmered until they exploded! Gage was seriously ADORABLE! Him waking Eden up after her first sleepover was the absolute best! Loved that scene so much. The twist I totally did not see coming and my jaw was on the floor! This one was so good, also I loved the side characters and can’t wait for the next one!
