The timing of reading this was perfect. My mother in law passed away last week and I needed an easy, sweet read. I enjoyed this book so much but the last line hit me as I finished.
“I can hear him reminding me that it’s okay to grieve, that it’s okay to miss him, that it’s only because of the bitter that you can fully appreciate the sweet.”
I love Heather Webber’s books.

I have yet to find a Heather Webber book that I don't love or doesn't make me cry! Lol
Beautiful writing and story telling. Love all the characters.
Absolutely recommend listening to all her books bc the narrators are fantastic!!

Light and sweet story of healing and reconciliation, but just rather underwhelming.
