Holy hell. This one was action-packed, twisty and turny. 

I absolutely love how we didn’t find out who the original killer was until the end. Since we could see into Lana’s perspective, we knew who she was going to kill along this series. But the original killer was that started this whole chain of events… I never could’ve guessed. 

Incredible series! I read all 5 novellas in 1 weekend and ate this up. This was the perfect ending too.

 What an ending! Paint it all red, she said, and she did. It is great to see Lana give back what they did to her and her family, especially with waking up the town on their dirty secret.

And that ending! Did not expect it,, but happy that the four of them can find peace going forward.

Oh my goodness. 

Lana finally burned down the town that stood by and watched her horrors she endured unfold- painting the streets red, and dropping bodies of the guilty in her wake. 

But monsters don't get their happily ever afters. 

I loved this book - loved Lana's story from start to finish. I loved seeing Lana seek out her revenge. And also cried for her, and everything she lost. She may have been a victim to a horrible crime, but she rose up and became a nightmare to those who wronged her- becoming so much stronger- not just physically, but mentally as well. These books were amazing, and I'm mentally kicking myself for putting them off for so long. These books were dark and twisted, but I loved them, and loved Lana. 5⭐ out of 5⭐

I’m making this review waaaay to long after I finished this series BUT the main reason why I recommend this is the fact that when you’re reading it you feel like you’re reading one book and not 5, and even now I genuinely cannot tell you when one book ended and when another started and I swear that I remember the whole story (not word for word obviously). The only thing that i didn’t completely like was the ending *******SPOILER****** I feel like the guy was forgiven waaayyy too quickly, like there wasn’t almost any groveling from him and that frustrated me *********END OF SPOILER******** but aside from that everything else was great. I’m gonna copy and put this review in every book from this series :)
