story 1: 2.5 stars - needs a format where he can luxuriate in his purple prose because chatlogs and emails are too informal. they dont sound like genuine human beings, you can feel the authors hand moving every character forward. clearly he expected the ending to be profound and reflective but it wouldve seriously benefited from being an actual novel. it needed more time
story 2: 4.75 stars - a little fast paced for him to fully utilize his writing style but definitely worked in his favor compared to the first story. this effected me so much more than the first ever could. i thought about it multiple times since finishing it
story 3: 3.5 stars - not insanely exceptional but i enjoyed his style here. long, long paragraphs really sitting in the scene hes writing. not sure i fully understand his intent with this but enjoyable and interesting and well written compared to the first despite being about 30 pages max
