I was disappointed with this book and decided to DNF it after 50%+ listened to. Besides a few chapters at the beginning it is a complete copy of After, but from Hardin’s view point. It’s basically the same book.

Great insight to Hardins way of thinking but wish there was more scenes between him and his friends and how he felt when telling them all the details between him and Tess. Felt a little rushed since it was more like a highlight reel of their relationship since is didnt included every scene. (Would have been a little repetitive i know, but would've loved his POV and seeing how his thoughts towards her slowly changed). Good read just wished for a little more!

This was a total waste of time and a very unnecessary book. It was not needed in the series. It added very few new info but other than that I could have avoided it.

It is Hardins view of After but not the entire view. Just a few scenes. There are some chapters about Molly's and Steph's life as well but they dont really make sense as it's just a scene from their lives before coming to WCU.

Alas, I am now free from the After series. I am done people!!! I can now go on and read all the amazing books out there. Despite After being horrible, there was something about these books that kept me hooked, I couldn't put them down and I had to read all of them. I'm so done now! Finally...
