I loved reading Hardin's story. I love this series!

This book was enjoyable as I love the characters but really pointless as it’s basically the first book told from Hardin’s perspective.

I have to say, this book felt like an unnecessary addition to the series. It didn’t offer anything new that After hadn’t already covered. The reason I gave it two stars instead of one is because, frankly, we didn’t need this retelling from Hardin’s perspective. Why? Because Anna Todd had already done such a great job in the previous books of making us understand Hardin and the inner workings of his mind that we could’ve guessed how he felt about these events ourselves.

In the end, this installment just wasn’t needed. Todd had already painted such a clear picture of Hardin’s thoughts and emotions that this book felt more like filler than anything else. It’s like getting a director’s commentary on a movie you’ve seen a hundred times—you already know what’s going on, so why sit through it again?

Buvo įdomu sužinoti tiek naujos informacijos apie taip gerai žinomus veikėjus, apie kai kuriuos net labai pakeisti nuomonę (pvz. Molę). Be to apie pačias lažybas buvo visai smagu sužinoti daugiau. Aišku, knygos, negaliu lyginti su pagrindinėmis šios serijos, bet manau ir taip visiems aišku, jog tai buvo tiesiog papildomos istorijos, pradžiuginti fanų širdeles.

I did really like the POV from other people, just wish there was an after for them. Not just a before. I think I would really like to know more of Zed’s story… ❤️‍🩹

Offers an interesting perspective on the story - you read from Hardin's POV mostly but also his friends and family such as Steph, Molly, Landon, Christian and Smith.

A good addition to the series but definitely not essential.

I enjoyed this book the most out of this series. Having other characters pov made this book very interesting.
