Pointless book, series could’ve ended without it

Buvo įdomu sužinoti tiek naujos informacijos apie taip gerai žinomus veikėjus, apie kai kuriuos net labai pakeisti nuomonę (pvz. Molę). Be to apie pačias lažybas buvo visai smagu sužinoti daugiau. Aišku, knygos, negaliu lyginti su pagrindinėmis šios serijos, bet manau ir taip visiems aišku, jog tai buvo tiesiog papildomos istorijos, pradžiuginti fanų širdeles.

And you know what ? I loved it. It was such a great conclusion to the After serie. I loved how Anna Todd let other characters talked to complete the story. I love how we get an explanation to Hardin's way of acting when they first met. I loved to see all those parts (before, during and after). I loved to know what happened to everyone. It was great, fun, cute. I didn't gave it 5 stars because I'm still not a huge fan of Hessa's story; their beggining is childish as Zed said, but they learned to grow and I think this story is finally full of hope. So happy I read it. Yay !

This is set before, during and after the events of the After series. Before, we get pov’s from the girls Hardin screwed over before meeting Tessa. These include Natalie, Molly, Melissa and Steph. During, we finally get Hardin’s pov of the events in the first After book (spoilers for After book one: the whole bet and what everyone truly thought of Tessa is revealed in more detail). After, we get the boys’ pov’s: Zed, Landon, Christian and Smith. I enjoyed all of the new points of view and rated this 4⭐️

I loved reading Before. It gave a bit more insight into Hardin’s mind, however I wish it really went further into the first book than it did. I didn’t really care to hear about most of the girls pasts, but I guess since they played such a major role in Hardin’s life during the time of the first book it was good to know. I really wanted it to go more over all of his thoughts when the bet was made, when he begged everyone not to tell, and when it all came to light. I wanted to hear his side of things for all of the “firsts” of Tessa to see where his mind was going. But I guess for the most part, we knew.
I was glad to read Zed’s point of view to see why he tried so damn hard and to read a bit about Hessa’s future with the kiddos.

Below is my review from the “After” books:
This book was such an easy read. I didn’t know that After was a book until I heard some girls talking about it when I randomly decided to go see the movie (which does NO justice to the book, might I add).
I read all 5 books super quick and I’m on my second go round now.
Hardin is a MAJOR asshole, but the more I read the more I hoped he and Tessa would be together. She puts up with WAY too much from him but it’s a story, after all. By the time I was on the 4th book, I understood so much more about Hardin and I actually felt bad for him and coming from a troubled past myself, could understand him and why he was the way that was.
The book is definitely X-rated, just in case you’re wondering. So reader beware. ☺️
I would recommend this book to anyone who like 50 Shades, for sure.

Sometimes I just want to drown out the world around me, and music and reading are the only things that do that for me.

getting into hardin head is chaotic but I love himm

He had always thought of himself as strong. He ruled everything, until she came in and took his crown.

He was used to structured solitude, and she was wreaking havoc on that.

TESSA HAVE HIM IN A CHOCKHOLD AS SHE SHOULD

it was a good book, but pretty much the first book all through hardins pov with the bet so it became quite repetitive, but i still enjoyed it and the different pov’s from different characters as a change to just tessa and hardin’s.

So this was definitely the least favorite book in the series for me. But with that being said I did still like it. I think my issue may have been how much it jumped around in the timeline and some of the storyline just fell off when it was giving us backstory about things. I wish there would have been more of zed and Landon’s story in this. The author gave us just enough to get us interested and then jumped on to the next thing and never went back.

SPOILER!!! I’m pretty upset they never got married! I’m happy that they had their happily ever after but I wish they would have had the wedding with all of their friends and family that they talked about in the last book after they left Landon’s wedding.
