I absolutely love this series. The writing style is okay, not my favorite, but i really like the love story between hardin and tessa. It really comes together more in the book because its in his point of view. I always liked the fact that there was other people's point of view in this book, i like to read what other people are feeling and thinking, when they aren't the main characters but they are irrelevant

I love the series, however, I feel like this book was not needed. Very repetitive to book 1 with a few new details.

Meh. Reads more as an afterthought/way to drag on the series but an okay addition to the series.

It was so bad!!! It was just messy and overall boring. I wanted to know more of Hardin’s side of the story but it skips all of his character development.

I went in wary, but ended up loving the look into the lives before the main story.

I thought this was going to be a story centered around the distruction Hardin created, you know, BEFORE. It's not. It's a retelling of After from his perspective.

Not sure WHY I read this, or any of these books, but it's a good indicator as to how hard I got sucked into the world of Hessa.

The book honestly should have been just the after part from everyone’s perspective and written as a novella. The first half of the book tells from
Hardin’s point of view which you would think would give us more insight into why he is the way he is, but no. Just reiterated what we already know. The timeline jumps wildly.
