The end of this series is here and what fantastic way to bring their story to a close. Rowan has her feistiest moment yet in this book. I truly need that played out on screen just so I can enjoy it even more because seriously had Evander not learned his lesson yet. Rowan is not some weak, coward female or not. I loved getting the chapters from Evander's POV even if he was still in the wrong. (still love him though) Rowan truly shows all her strengthens and she is truly deserving of her path. OH and evil stepmother all i can say is about dang time. This is a must read series.

I binged this series so quickly and I thought it was well done! I honestly wish this last book was longer or the plot spanned two books just because there was a lot packed into this story that could have been expanded on to be a little more complex and political.
Again with the fae powers, they were sort of just brushed over until convenient for Rowan to use and win the battle? I wish they would have been utilized more in the story or not part of it at all.
I wish we would have gotten more of the Lochlann characters featured in book 3 but I'm glad we got to return to all the people from Clan Bear from book 2. I also liked the change of POV in this book - I didn't find Evander's POVs boring or unnecessary at all (which I think is sometimes a problem when it comes to POV changes in book series). Overall, I really liked the setting of this series and its characters! It was super easy to read and understand, and also really fun.

-Thank you to the authors for an eARC and a chance to review this book. Receiving an ARC in no way influenced or affected this review or my opinion-

This was the satisfying ending that I wish all series would have. Rowan is a FORCE and Evander is just...the dumbest man and yet at the top of my book boyfriend list. I don't even have the right words to rave about how much I loved this book. Start to finish, it's a ride, and it's so succinctly connected to the previous one that you dont even miss a beat when reading. Robin and Elle outdid themselves with this entire series, and this one is just icing on the cake.
The political input is really well done and interesting instead of being dry. The character development is phenomenal as we see all the characters accept new ideas and traditions, as well as opening up about their past traumas and deciding they won't let those things define them.
All in all, another 10/10 book that EVERYONE needs to read.

A very basic Romantasy book series. Checks all the boxes without being too high stress. Has all the best tropes. Perfect for pallet cleansing OR if you are brand new to fantasy-romance this is a very great introduction.
