Gonna be honest, I enjoyed this book a lot more than I thought I would. I listened to the first 70% driving to visit family for Thanksgiving and then was sad that I wouldn't have a chance to listen to more until driving home, and I wanted to know what would happen next. I found the romance to be quite compelling with all of their tension and I liked the POV changes and time jumps/flashbacks.
I’d even say more like 4.5 stars. The banter was excellent and I loved the characters.

An enemies-to-love trope. I didn’t quite feel the chemistry and didn’t feel their characters were rich enough.
this was a low 3 for me. honestly, i just found shane boring and it dragged. they're both really immature, but that tracks bc i feel like famous people are emotionally stuck at whatever age they became famous.
