I usually like a celeb romance and I also enjoy getting some behind the scenes details about Hollywood. However, I didn’t really love either of the main characters and didn’t feel invested in them getting together. I also didn’t feel like there was an emotional payoff once it happened. The author was banking on their shared history carrying the romance farther instead of really developing their relationship in the present day. Overall, just okay for me. I didn’t love her first book either, so I might be done here.

4 1/2 stars from me... sooo cute, sooo good. Real emotions, real conflict, really tough resolution but like, definitely smoldering and satisfying the whole time.
