an overall pretty good read if the two main characters weren’t unlikable and annoying, and if the plot was less constricted. the angst was more toxic than entertaining, and i thought they were both too old to be acting so childish, but it was a fun book, anyhow. i had DNFed the author’s debut, but this encouraged me to give it another chance so that definitely counts for something.
