I LOVE Tommy & Tuppence. I don't care what anybody else says. I think they're swell and they're way more fun to read than some of Christie's other detective characters. This is the first T&T novel, and I'd forgotten the beginnings of their detective work. I also want to start calling my chums "old bean."

Enjoyable but I found the language hard to get used to. Also I found the plot to be one of her most obvious ones. I loved the characters though and the story did keep me hooked.

My first time reading a Tommy and Tuppence adventure... I'll definitely be picking up more of them! Lots of fun!
It is a good novel, but I don’t think is is one of the best works of Agatha Christie. At first I felt that the book was a little bit slow, but once I reached to the half of it, just couldn’t stop reading trying to guess who Mr. Brown is.

Destacar, que este libro no sigue el típico patrón de los libros habituales de la autora, con un asesinato, una investigación y el descubrimiento final del asesino, este libro no nos tendrá pegados a sus páginas hasta averiguar quien es el asesino, nos tendrá pegados a sus páginas hasta averiguar quien es el misterioso Sr. Brown.
Otra cosa que diferencia a este libro del resto de los de su autora es que en este caso no es un solo investigador el protagonista, como lo son Hercules Poirot o Miss Marple en otras historias, sino dos, Tommy y Prudence, más conocida cariñosamente como Tuppence.
Sin duda, como todos los libros de Agatha Christie que he leído hasta ahora, lo recomiendo encarecidamente, es muy fácil de leer, es ágil, es divertido y apropiado para leer en cualquier época del año, todo un acierto en esos momentos en los que no se sabe que lectura elegir.

A fun quick read! As just her second published novel, Ms Christie was still finding her way. But all the elements are there! Lots of twists and turns, red herrings, and tiny but pivotal details. The story is a great one, though there are a few minor flaws in the telling along the way. Sad that Tuppence and Tommy and their Young Adventurers operation only appear in 4 more novels, but clearly they are a product of the author's own youth and ultimately fade away as she matures and becomes a more accomplished writer.
