I became interested in the career of Harriet Wistrich after hearing her speak on BBC radio 4's Desert Island Discs.  Sister in Law provides an interesting insight into the career of this inspiring woman.  The nature of the book means that the reader will naturally be more interested in some parts than others but I was left feeling hopeful.

One of the best UK law genre books I've read. Harriet has been involved with some of the biggest cases of the last few years. It also made me think about complicated issues with no clear answers. It's a must read and is so well written.

This book horrified and informed me. Wistrich is a phenomenal figure in the fight for Justice for women in law and I’m in awe of her and the work she has been a part of.
The stories included consistently shocked me, the relevancy is potent, this should be mandatory reading for everyone. I don’t really care who you are, you should read this book.
