This was a nice little collection of short fiction and novellas. I really enjoyed some supplemental material to the world of Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell, so if you enjoyed that book, you'll enjoy this one. I also liked the little bit from the world of Gaiman's Stardust.
Graphic: Confinement, Kidnapping, and Death of parent
Moderate: Death, Kidnapping, Murder, and Pregnancy

The voice and subtle cleverness that Clarke displayed in Strange & Norrell are present here in full force. I enjoyed the broad range of characters on display, as well as the many creative story lines—all presented in characteristically evocative writing.
I must also call out the excellent illustrations by Charles Vess—they are right up there as one of the highlights of the book. His style reminds me a bit of Aubrey Beardsley and other Art Nouveau period artists. It's the perfect compliment to Clarke's tales.
