Beautiful art, weird pacing.  I wish it had been longer.

The story didn’t really pull me in and I didn’t love the art :/ kind of a let down after how much I enjoyed Ram V’s Laila Starr

Beautiful art, terrific unusual coming of age story
A world I don't know but a good look inside to life for teens in Mumbai

3.5 stars. Coming of age story of four teenagers living in Mumbai. Art was a little sketchy but super fluid and engaging with great color. I wish they had been given one or two more issues to flesh out the kids and their stories, because at 4 chapters it just felt rushed and condensed. Still happy to have read it.

Though not as formal or ambitious as These Savage Shores, Grafity’s Wall more than makes up for it in its beautiful Euro inspired look, jaw dropping hand lettering and touching character work. A coming of age story set in India done with the upmost care and detail. I love this book.

"Looking back at it, maybe I could tell on some level, that we were close to the end of things.

"The air had grown lighter. the sky had cooled. and you could smell the coming rain on the wind."

i'm not sure yet what star rating i'll give this book, but i liked it.
