I have loved every other Bridgerton book that I have read, but I didn't enjoy this one.  The hidden jewel storyline didn't hold my interest.  The ultimate resolution of it in the second epilogue was extremely disappointing.  I didn't love any of the characters.  I found Hyacinth and Gareth annoying for most of the book.

Its in His Kiss gives us a little angst, quick wit and enough Lady Danbury to soothe the soul. Hyacinth’s inclusion to the Bridgerton franchise is a fun read, a little slow to get into but once we truly meet Mr. Gareth St. Clair we are ALL asking “Gareth more.” It could just be me but
I saw the true identity of Gareth's father from a mile away, it could have been teased a bit better but no matter.
These books are fun to read in a binge-it-all-in-the-bath sort of way. I believe I enjoyed it as much as Hy and Lady Danbury enjoyed their Buttersworth adventures. Highly recommend these books. :)

I liked the plot a lot more on this one. It wasn't just a romance, but it had a mystery too. The family drama was very good and I really liked Gareth and Hyacinth as characters. There seemed to be a bit more focus on the plot rather than the steamy scenes which was quite refreshing, much like book 5. It might be my favourite one yet purely for the difference in storyline, but I am reading rhe last one soon (will update review when I do)

It’s in his kiss- 4⭐️ 3.25🌶️

This is the mystery to solve book with the absolutely reckless heroine.

This is my favorite of the Bridgerton Books. It’s definitely the funniest. Lady Danbury is one of my favorite side characters in the whole series, and her being featured in this makes it so much better.

Hyacinth is one of the best girls in the family. Her wit and unabashed nature is great to read in a regency romance full of demure debutants.

Gareth was a great pairing, a rake with a great sense of humor who doesn’t take himself too seriously. He had his moments with his father that made me want to smack him upside the head, but overall he’s a likable guy.

And the second epilogue is adorable.

This one was my favorite so far of the entire series. I loved the interactions between Hyacinth and Gareth. Lady Danbury came back which is always fun.
