That was SO good! Oh my gosh. I love so many characters in this. I love the banter and the sass. Atlas is my favorite, I hate Nox. This just drew me in immediately and the concept is absolutely amazing and Iโm reading the second book immediately.

This book started abruptly and finished abruptly. I honestly donโt know what I was expecting from itโฆ It was confusing at times, but so freaking addictive. I read this in two days, and not on my days off, I read this while working, just for you to see how addictive it had to be.
Well, let me start with what I think could have been better, and what I didnโt like. It lacked explanation. Weโre basically thrown into this world where people have multiple bonds and powers and we never have anything explained. Weโre the ones that have to figure things out as weโre reading, and honestly Iโm still not even sure how the bonding really works. We also have a Resistance showing up out of nowhere, once again with no explanation of their motives or goals, but we donโt like them and weโre afraid of them. Then we have the powersโฆ I did find them cool, I just wish I knew more about them? What kind of powers can a person get, what determines it, how are they ranked and why are they ranked. If all of this had been explained not only would have enjoyed the book more, but it would make it more interesting.
Ok, now what did I likeโฆ The characters. I freaking loved Oli, the main character. Did I always agree with the way she reacted? No. But she was a consistent character, she was strong, she stood her ground and despite me thinking that she cried a lot during the book - she had reasons for it tho - I do think that hold herself quite well.
I also have to say that I liked the relationship she had with her bonds. To me, it was very realistic and it brought some great dynamics into the story. The angst, the grief, the sadness and the hurt. All of those emotions were so well portrayed by all the characters that it became of the most interesting parts of the book. Those are relationships that are going to evolve as the books go, and honestly itโs something that keeps me wanting to continue the series.
All of that being said, despite it not being the best first book, it was really addictive and I will definitely be reading more.

I loved this book and really enjoyed learning about this world. I finished it in one singular day and already started on the second book.
Beginning was slow, end was good. More excited to read the second one.
Took me about 30-40% to really get into this but near the end things really started heating up with the action part of the plot and we learn more about the charactersโinteresting world/magic to explore as well

Conectรฉ con Oli desde el primer momento, esa mujer es INCREรBLE y no habรญa sentido tanto orgullo por un personaje femenino en aรฑos. A pesar de conocer toda su historia acรก, fue suficiente para que la quisiera.
Es obvio que el รบnico de los intereses amorosos que me cayรณ bien fue Atlas, los demรกs son unos idiotas, lo รบnico que hacรญan era enojarme. Igual no estoy feliz de las decisiones que tomaba Olie, me desesperaba tanta mentira.
Igual disfrutรฉ la historia y quiero leer mรกs de todos los personajes.
