Hernán se duerme en vivo

(((igual quiero saber cómo termina esto)))

La mejor parte fue la dedicatoria
To everyone who cannot find themselves in a world full of people,
Being lost is a hard prologue, but a much beautiful story awaits you.
Find the courage, and turn the page.

Trigger warnings GALORE. I don’t need trigger warnings myself but this one basically has them all. I think I liked the idea of the main characters more than I actually like them if that makes sense. There was so much potential here and it just felt wasted on sex scenes that were incredibly visual and graphic and happening way to quick in my opinion. SPOILERS AHEAD

It felt completely unrealistic that someone who had been a sex slave that was abused and raped since she was a child was so quick to let an assassin possessive alpha male dominate her. Perhaps if it was written better or somewhat more sensitively it wouldn’t have left a strange taste in my mouth. I like that he watches out for her and had her best interests in mind, and I loved that she felt safe with him, but something about the way certain scenes were written just gave me the ick. Didn’t hate it, didn’t love it, and made it to the end at least. But at this point I’m just finishing the books so I can figure out who the head hauncho bad guy is.

this was…intense. and the ending was kind of abrupt. this was the most well written of the bunch—not as many grammatical/spelling errors as her first books so GO GIRL!!
also, i’ve been waiting since book one for tristan and luna/lyla to be reunited, and i’m salty i haven’t gotten it yet. like, it really doesn’t make sense that this book ended without that scene. lyla’s arc felt stilted bc it was only about her relationship with dainn when tristan (and by extension, Xander) were obviously the other half of that arc. there’s no way for her to come full circle without that closure.
