The book can have a strong message for people who haven't really heard anything about misogyny or feminism. I don't like the writing style (there's some pretty sentences in it but as a whole it's dry and repetitive)

Un libro da cui è impossibile staccarsi, il racconto di Firdaus è intenso e frenetico, proprio come quello di qualcuno che non ha tempo da perdere in dettagli, e tanto da raccontare. A volte restano dubbi o si scorgono incongruenze, ma Firdaus non sta raccontando la propria storia ad un'amica al bar, bensì ad una psichiatra a poche ore dalla morte annunciata, quindi il racconto è come un incontenibile fiume in piena, a ragion veduta.
Il lettore è risucchiato in un vortice, e quando il libro finisce, troppo presto

, si rimane con la voglia di aver letto un racconto più approfondito, di aver fugato i dubbi e saputo di più - ma al contempo si sa anche che non ci può essere un "di più".
