**I was gifted with an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review**

[b:Bad Reputation|25495640|Bad Reputation (Bad Reputation, #1)|K.B. Nelson|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1431660041s/25495640.jpg|45271032]This book was absolutely intense. I have never read anything like it in the sense that the main character had such an intense and corrupted personality. But again I am a sucker for a book when there are so many plot twists and personal demons that they have to each on their own grow from. The character development was beautiful. Thank you for this read it was amazing and I can't wait to see what you have next and I would definitely read it!

**I received a copy of this book from the publisher via Netgalley.**

I'm nobody when I'm not actively engaged in the art of manipulation and deceit. I'm hollow without it.

This is a story of manipulation and deceit. Of revenge and love.
Apple Malloy was a good girl, a nice person your best girlfriend. Until she was taking advantage of because of that. Typical she thought she loved a boy and instead he used her.

Enter Brick and this story gets interesting and twisted.

Behind those fucking beautiful emerald eyes is a demon. He eats women for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Brick is a soulless monster who sees Apple 4 years ago innocent and naive, and thinks he is helping her when he turns her into him.

It's people like him that turned me into the woman I am today. I'm a bitter bitch. I'm a woman scorned.

I get a whole cruel Intentions vibe from this book. I don't normally enjoy books like this, because I hate confrontation lol. And I know eventually the characters are going to crash and burn. What keep me interested in the story is Professor Jensen, I am a sucker for forbidden romance.

I just loved Professor Jensen, he is not as what he seems and throws Apple off. The twists in this book is what makes it different and stand out towards other books about revenge. I do feel this part of the story was a little fast paced, but the author did explain why with Jensen's past.

Apple and Brick have a very unhealthy co-dependent relationship. I wish we would have gotten more of a background on Brick, because I can't understand the need to hurt innocence people.

We use people. We seduce people. We destroy everything and everyone we touch. And we enjoy every second of it.

Apple has nobody in her life she can lean on talk to. I think that is why Brick gets to her. He makes her feel weak for having a heart and loving someone. Although Brick has his moments where I believe that he is a normal collage student. I definitely want to know more about Brick what makes him tick.

At one point I really felt that Apple was over reacting for being the way she was. Until I read this.

"You can lose anything in this world and it can affect you. It doesn't matter if it's trivial in relation to the rest of the world's woes. Pain or loss is never relative."

I loved the writing style of this book, I highlighted so many quotes. I give this book 4 stars. Not five because honestly I needed more time between Apple and Jensen to feel a better connection between the two.

I am definitely interested in continuing this story.

WOW! The for sure has the feel of the movie Cruel Intentions. I was half way through the book and thought this was really messed up the plans Brick and Apple had made together. As I got closer to the end, I thought, "OMG this is gereally good." Although I don't agree with the games Brick and Apple have been playing for years, I'm glad Apple is seeing tting Brick for his true colors. I just wish Mr. Moon would've got a few licks in on Brick. I can't wait to find out what happens in the next book. *ARC compliments of the author in exchange for an honest review.

I really enjoyed this book, it kept me interested from the start.
Jenson is a very lovely Character and i loved reading about him.
Apple she was a nice after she got rid of the chip off her shoulder.
Jenson and Apple was hot together, they could set a house on fire.
Brick.. well. I dont know why i liked him so much. Maybe because he's a A***hole most of the time. I cant wait for his book :)
Overall i liked this book and would definitely recommend it.

This story had two of my favorite types of characters; strong independent woman & the man we love to hate.

Bad Reputation is a very unique teacher-student romance (if you can call it that) with MANY twists and turns.

I would highly recommend this book to everyone (who isn't afraid of a little smut.) I cannot wait for book #2!

I read the original book in the '90s. Huge fan of Valmont (Colin Firth) and of course, Cruel Intentions. So absolutely I loved this book. Looking forward to second book!
