This was fantastic. With everything from Ancient Greece to quantum gravity, it was quite a fun journey. It exceeded all my expectations, and I definitely think that more people should read this. My only issue was the fact that it became a bit confusing and unclear towards the second half of the book. It was fine enough to understand after a while, but it wasn’t explained “easily” enough, as it should been, with him saying that this is both marketed at those who know more about physics and those who are new to the subject.

This book was a decent enough introduction to loop quantum gravity theory but was weakened by a few things. I felt like that he could have been a bit less 'flowery' in some parts and instead used the spaces on the page to get a little bit more in-depth on some things.

And on another note, it was a bit jarring for a man obviously as intelligent and deep thinking as Rovelli to fall for the myth of the Christian dark ages where humanity was intellectually stagnated until the renaissance. These ignorant beliefs do such a disservice to many wonderful medieval intellectuals in both the Christian and Muslim world.
